Salesforce error message: Try again with a different browser

If you see this error message in Salesforce (e.g. the CCADB):

"We can't display this page because your browser blocks cross-domain cookies. Try again with a different supported browser."

The solution is to add salesforce.com, force.com, and visualforce.com to the cookies exception list for your browser.
