There is an agreement in place for Sysnet Global Solutions to acquire SecureTrust, a division of Trustwave. We foresee no customer service interruptions due to this ownership change. Press release: https://sysnetgs.com/2021/10/sysnet-global-solutions-acquires-securetrust-to-expand-security-solutions-and-geographic-coverage/.
The entire SecureTrust Certification Authority will be acquired, including all of the roots, systems, policies, core CA operation teams, and infrastructure. There will be a transition period where SecureTrust CA and Sysnet Global Solutions will be working through this ownership change.
Sysnet Global Solutions will also acquire exclusive use and access to the SecureTrust CA facilities which will continue to be the locations of SecureTrust CA operations. Key operational and management personnel, such as validation specialists, PKI engineers, and the internal quality assurance team, of the SecureTrust CA business will remain unchanged. Network supporting services and human resource services will be transitioned to Sysnet Global Solutions personnel. We expect minor CP/CPS changes around email addresses and legal ownership areas to be completed at the appropriate time during the transition period.
SecureTrust CA would like to begin the public discussion for the Sysnet Global Solution acquisition of SecureTrust CA as described in Section 8.1 of the Mozilla Root Store Policy.
Sincerely,
Andrea Holland--
