Timing of Public Discussion of S/MIME External Sub CA

All,

I would like to initiate a three-week public discussion on Bug #1933132 regarding the issuance of the Cybertrust Japan SureMail CA G5 by SECOM, pursuant to MRSP § 8.4 (Externally-Operated Subordinate CAs).

Considering planned end-of-year absences and the holiday season, I want to ensure that the discussion period accommodates the availability of interested parties. Does initiating the discussion this week seem reasonable, or are there any concerns?

I intend to start public discussion of this matter using the CCADB Public list (https://groups.google.com/a/ccadb.org/g/public).  The public discussion will be extended to run through Friday, January 10, 2025, with the understanding that there may be delays in responses due to various internationally-recognized holidays.
