Approval of Cybertrust Japan SecureSign Root CA16

Public discussion of the Cybertrust Japan SecureSign Root CA16 (email trust bit)[1] occurred in the CCADB Public List from February 8, 2026 [2], to April 13, 2026 [3].  

More information about the inclusion request for that root can be found in the PDF attached to that CCADB public discussion and in Bug #1925173 [4].

Information about the Mozilla root inclusion process may be found here [5] and here [6].  

This is Mozilla's notice of intent to approve Cybertrust Japan's root inclusion request, and it begins a 7-day “last call” period for any final objections, which will end on April 23, 2026.
