Dear Community Members,

As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a respectful and productive environment, I would like to remind everyone of the importance of adhering to Mozilla’s Community Participation Guidelines and the Bugzilla Etiquette Guide. These guides are designed to ensure that our communications remain constructive, inclusive, and respectful.

To summarize:  Treat others with respect, courtesy, professionalism, and civility, and value others’ contributions and time commitments; constructive criticism should focus on solutions rather than problems, people, or personalities; seek to understand and resolve issues by working together to foster a cooperative spirit without escalating conflict; and always be mindful of the impact that your comments and behavior might have on others.

I encourage everyone to review these documents in full and be mindful of the behavioral expectations we have for communications in Bugzilla and on the Mozilla dev-security-policy list.

If anyone has difficulty understanding the guidelines or what is expected, I am available to provide additional, specific guidance with examples of acceptable and unacceptable behavior to help clarify any uncertainties and ensure that everyone can adhere to these important provisions.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to maintaining a respectful and productive community.

Best regards,

Ben
