Hi All,

For those of you that didn’t know, bugmon (https://github.com/MozillaSecurity/bugmon) now supports automated recording of Pernosco sessions for Firefox bugs.  This feature is currently limited to Linux x86-64 bugs with an attached testcase.  If you would like to get a Pernosco session for one of these bugs, you’ll need to add both the `bugmon` and `pernosco-wanted` keywords.

These bugs are analyzed every 6 hours and a comment will be added to the bug indicating if a Pernosco session was recorded.  Due to the delay between the recording and processing by Pernosco, it may take a few hours for the actual Pernosco session to be linked to the bug.

If you have any questions or bugmon issues, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Thanks!

All,

One limitation I forgot to mention is that this will only work for bugs that trigger a crash or fatal assertion.  Bugmon relies on these scenarios in order to determine what a "failed" state looks like.

Pernosco also has a limitation on the type of jobs it supports.
