Deprecation plan for Firefox-specific pages on MDN

For years, we have used MDN to document the internals of Firefox. With the recent changes on MDN, it is time for us to stop using MDN for this and use https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org instead.

The plan is:

1. Stop displaying all archived content on July 14, 2021. Currently, nearly all of the Firefox-specific content has been archived at https://github.com/mdn/archived-content/tree/main/files/en-us and is displayed under https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Archive/Mozilla. This content will no longer be displayed on MDN starting July 14, 2021, but of course will remain available within the https://github.com/mdn/archived-content repo on GitHub.

2. The only exception is the NSS content, which is still managed at https://github.com/mdn/content/tree/main/files/en-us/mozilla/projects/nss and displayed under https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Projects/NSS. That content will continue to be displayed until it's moved off of MDN. That work has started and is being tracked at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1709817 (see also https://github.com/mdn/content/issues/2669).

3. If the Firefox-specific content is still relevant, it should be imported into https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org if it hasn't been already (see https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/tools/moztreedocs/mdn-import.html). Meta bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1617963

Is the history for the removed MDN content available or only a
snapshot from 2020?

I can't seem to find it. For example,
https://github.com/mdn/archived-content/commits/main/files/en-us/mozilla/performance/profiling_with_xperf/index.html
only has 3 commits and they all seem to be caused by changes to the
export script don't correspond to the history of changes to the
content on that page.
