Hi,

we use Thunderbird 115.2.3 (installation via MSI) and we set the mandatory primary password via GPO. GPO works and settings are there:

but Thunderbird doesn’t care about it:

Primary Password is not set and not greyed out & there are saved logins.

Does anyone updates the ADMX files? https://github.com/thundernest/policy-templates/tree/master/templates/central

Checked version 102.3.0 as well but same behaviour, no primary password is forced.

In Firefox its working as expected and options is greyed out.

Do I miss something?

Regards

Sascha

looks like there is already an opened bug:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1755068

Would someone please check and fix this before some UI change is done again 😉

This is an absolute necessity and not just nice to have.

Regards,

Sascha
