CCADB Update: New Case Type - CA Information Update Request (Non-Audit)

We have posted the following "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" notice on the CCADB home page:

** UNDER CONSTRUCTION **
CCADB is being updated to add a new Case type called “CA Information Update Request (Non-Audit)”. We do not expect these changes to impact usage of the CCADB, but if you run into any problems, please wait until after the changes are done. We will update this notice when the changes have been completed.

CPA Canada is updating their system such that the current URLs to WebTrust audit statements in pdf form will no longer work. After CPA Canada has updated their system and the API that they provide to CCADB for integration, we will update the CCADB data and metadata to use their new URLs. We will update this message when the changes have been completed.

We are beginning migration of the new Case type from Sandbox to production this afternoon.  When the changes for the new Case type are complete, we will update the "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" notice, and I will post a response here.

All,

We have updated CCADB production to have a new Case type called “CA Information Update Request (Non-Audit)". However, while testing the new Case type in production we found that there is a problem with adding and deleting policy documents. The rest of the CCADB should be working fine now.

We have updated the notice on the CCADB home page to the following, and will work on resolving the bug next week.

CCADB is being updated to add a new Case type called “CA Information Update Request (Non-Audit)”, so please
do not use this new Case type until we remove this notice. These changes should not impact your current use of the CCADB,
so please send email to sup...@ccadb.org if you find anything in the CCADB to not be working as expected.

All,

The UNDER CONSTRUCTION notice has been removed from the CCADB home page, and the new Case type called “CA Information Update Request (Non-Audit)" may be used now.

Please let me know if you run into problems using the CCADB or have recommendations about how to improve the work flow for this new Case type.
