As of Firefox 155, I intend to turn the CSS progress() function on by default on all platforms. This was developed behind the layout.css.progress-function.enabled preference.

This feature originally shipped in Chrome 138 and Safari 26, but the specification was recently updated to include an optional no-clamp keyword. This new keyword is supported by Gecko, and is under development in WebKit (available in Safari Technology Preview 248); Blink development status is unknown.
