Aspire and Diploma pathways program

Good Morning, 

I just want to share program information for Aspire. We offer FREE classes for adults to prepare for their GED/HS Diploma or learn English. 

We have received more funding from the State for the Adult Diploma program. This is the program where they take the WorkKeys and do hands-on training. We can offer CNA and Rise Up. Students will earn a state issued HS diploma. 

The 22+ program is in its last year. This program is for adults 22 and older who would like to make up their missing high school credits and tests. For these students, they will need to get a copy of their transcripts from their high school. 

Our class locations are in Piqua, Sidney, Greenville, and Urbana. We have online options as well for those who qualify. ESOL is only in Piqua. *Please note, we closed our class location in Troy due to lack of enrollment and attendance for the last several years. 

Students do have to register for the program. They cannot just show up. Our next registrations are Oct. 27 and 28 for ESOL and Oct. 29 and 30 for GED/HS Diploma. Students must be on the registration list. Please ask them to call 937-778-1980 x 501 to get the information they need. 

Also, we are still enrolling for our Workforce Development CNA program. This is also free for those who qualify. Students who do not qualify will be referred to the Health Science Center to learn about payment options.
