[meshery-community] Meshery Maintainer Nomination: Mario Arriaga

All,

I hereby nominate Mario Arriaga to the role of Meshery Maintainer, CI. Mario has consistently demonstrated his ability and his willingness significantly and positively impact both our projects and individuals within our community. Being a maintainer in the Meshery project and the Layer5 Community means more than being a consistent and impactful contributor, but also means being thoughtful of other community members, giving of your time with a pay it forward mentality. Like other Meshery maintainers here, Mario holds my confidence as individual having the most earnest of intentions toward our mission of industry-leading projects and a community culture coveted by others’.

Mario is a Software Development Engineer in Test III at F5. Quality Engineering using automation to automate API and UI testing of large scale systems and complex data processing workflows is his forté and very relevant to his efforts given to Meshery’s tooling and test automation. I’m asking for your consideration and vote of his assignment to the role of Maintainer, CI role. Many of your are familiar with Mario and his works in the community while others of you may not have overlapped in your focus areas, yet. Mario entered into the Meshery project in the Fall of 2021. Mario has been instrumental in the advancement of Meshery’s UI test framework. He exercises great patience and diligence in the identification of quality issues in the project, ever vigil to our need of focusing on bug-free functionality.

Voting process:

• Please respond by Wednesday, March 9th at 7am Pacific with your +1 (yea) or -1 (nay) to indicate your support of lack thereof. 
• All community members are welcome to show your support or lack thereof with a vote and any comments; e.g. "+1 NB” (for non-binding)
• Existing maintainer votes are binding; e.g. "+1 binding"
