Having joined the community in August 2022, Antonette has consistently demonstrated her willingness and ability to significantly and positively impact both our projects and individuals within our community nearly 100 pull requests merged across our projects.Being a maintainer on the Meshery project and a steward of the Layer5 community means more than being a consistent and impactful contributor, but also means being thoughtful of other community members, giving of your time with a pay-it-forward mentality. Like other Meshery maintainers here, Antonette holds my confidence as individual having the most earnest of intentions toward our mission of industry-leading projects and a supportive community culture coveted by others’.With recent completion of a software engineering internship at Layer5, Antonette is currently an Associate Software Engineer at Aquia. With her security-centric software engineering focus, she dedicates time on a daily basis to advancing the Meshery project.Antonette is currently advancing the state of Meshery’s UI with respect to its componentization and reusability. Her diligence of documentation, attention to detail, and ability to persevere has her contributions reverberating across every aspect of the Meshery project. Not one to shy from highly involved, tedious tasks, Antonette has delivered on the testing and coordinating an upgrade of Golang versions across all components, and undertaken the challenging task of investigating and upgrading each of Meshery’s UI frameworks. Antonette’s code and project hygiene has had a sweeping impact on Meshery’s collective workflow and build processes.
