Design Spec for Issue #14226 - Make the Meshery Adapter interface use generic terms

Hi Meshery Team,

I am writing regarding issue #14226 in the Meshery repository:

I have been working on this issue and opened PR #17976 (https://github.com/meshery/meshery/pull/17976). Following Lee Calcote's guidance, I have completed the design spec document as outlined in the issue instructions.

Unfortunately, I currently don't have access to the Meshery Documentation Drive despite submitting the community member form. I have attached the design spec document to this email for review.

Could you please review the spec and let me know if there is a maintainer available to sponsor this work? I am happy to make any adjustments based on your feedback.
