MSAK Access

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask if the MSAK server list is publicly accessible? I noticed that the Locate V2 API only has the NDT7 servers, which I assume aren’t for multi-stream testing. Is the MSAK server list from another Locate API that is publicly accessible?

Hi James,

The equivalent v2 API URL to get the nearest MSAK servers is https://locate.measurementlab.net/v2/nearest/msak/throughput1.

You can also get a list of all the servers registered with Locate, regardless of the experiment, at https://locate.measurementlab.net/v2/siteinfo/registrations and you can filter the list by Registration.Experiment == "msak" to find the nodes serving the MSAK experiment. Note that this list is dynamic and changes based on which servers are alive and serving traffic right now.
