About Interest to Transport Property Calculation

Dear GSoC team,

I am sorry that I reach out too late.

I am currently a research assistant at UC Berkeley Persson Group and also an incoming PhD student in Computational Material Science.  I'm interested in contributing to Transport Property Calculations. I have been working on MD simulation of aqueous polymer solutions and extensively using MDAnalysis and solvation-analysis. 

I just realized that the deadline is coming and I am still working on the proposal. I solved the first issue and merged my code into the MDAnalysis recently (issue #4070). Could you please add me to the MDAnalysis list? I will send my draft once I finish, hopefully before this Friday and will try my best to submit my application before April. 4th. I will appreciate it a lot if you could provide some advices to improve my proposal. Also, I am not sure about where I will submit my application.

Hi Xiaoxu Ruan, 

It would be better if you could submit a draft through the GSOC portal so we can give comments in private, so not everyone on here can see application + comments. I know this is possibly confusing with what we said RE private communication, but we try and protect application privacy (this is your details + your academic effort in making the application.) as much as possible.
