Dear GSOC team,

Hi, I'm Xiaoxu Ruan. I'm an incoming Ph.D. student in Computational Material Science. I'm interested in contributing to Transport Property Calculations. I am doing Molecular Dynamics research on aqueous polymer systems and analyzing solvation structure with quantitative tools including MDAnalysis. I also have a background in Material Science and understand physical and mathematical methods involved in transport property calculations. I find it valuable to implement transport property calculations for convenience.

I just realized that the deadline is coming and I am still working on the proposal. I solved the first issue and merged my code into the MDAnalysis recently. Could you please add me to the MDAnalysis list? I will submit my application before April. 4th. Do you have any suggestions for writing a strong proposal? (Currently, I am just trying to answer all the questions on this page https://github.com/MDAnalysis/mdanalysis/wiki/Google-Summer-Of-Code. )
