McKinney STEAM Academy (MSA)We hope all of our MSA Fathers and Father Figures had a Happy Father’s Day! Open Houses: THIS Saturday bring your friends and family to check out the MSA and for more information check out (and share!) our Facebook post. We will have several additional open houses in July. The McKinney STEAM Academy is 100% volunteer run. To ensure that we don’t have to turn anyone away, we’re looking for additional volunteers to coach FLL and FTC. You’ll have the full support of the MSA. Please contact Charlie Goodman if you are interested. Website Notes: We are shifting our website to a platform that allows more of our staff to assist in maintaining it. As a result some of the old links will be broken. FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC)CAD Training on the calendar. First in person session is this Sat June 22 at 1pm. Make sure your student comes with the self study portion completed. We will have some laptops available but we will not have enough for all attendees. Your student is encouraged to bring their own laptop along with a mouse with a scroll wheel. Please have your student work through the self paced “part 1” before attending on Saturday, this includes creating an account. Texas Robotics Invitational 2024 - June 27th, 28th, 29th. Where: Strake Jesuit College Preparatory Gymnasiums: 8900 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX, 77036 Summer Hours: We’ve had a small tweak in summer hours. Unless otherwise noted, summer hours are Wed 6-9 and Sat 1-5.
