	McKinney STEAM Academy (MSA) We have been invited to attend the Frisco Rough Riders STEM fundraiser! Every game ticket sold through our link raises raises funds for our students! We will be there with our robots answering the public’s questions. Buy your tickets with our link and be sure to stop by and say “Hi!” while you’re there. 	FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC)      And we have a robot! Build teams have come a long way, surmounted several hurdles and are now handing off the “V1” robot to the software team. We will be moving into alternate sub team meetings so everyone can get hands on time with the robot. We will be announcing schedules as soon as possible. Our first competition at Belton is coming up and we will be assigning team roles and preparing pit equipment all while refining the “V2” robot for competition. It’s the busy season and we are excited about watching the students’ hard work materialize on the robot! You can get a glimpse behind the curtain with our Open Alliance posts. As part of the Open Alliance we are committed to sharing the areas we are succeeding as well as the areas that need improvement with our fellow FIRST competitors.
