	McKinney STEAM Academy (MSA) The FIRST Tech Challenge workshop is almost sold out. If your family is on the fence, now is the time to sign up. We’ve added an intro to FIRST Lego League. Again, it is six nights with a different focus each night. They can be taken as a whole or as singles to brush up on specific skills. 	FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC) Thank you to the families that have brought in individually wrapped snacks for the kids. We appreciate you! Remind your kids the rules quiz is this coming Saturday. All students must have an 80% to pass and participate in traveling events. All of the questions will come from the Game Manual. We want everyone to pass. If a kid needs a second attempt that’s absolutely fine. https://firstfrc.blob.core.windows.net/frc2024/Manual/2024GameManual.pdf Tryouts for the drive team will be occurring in the next two weeks. They will have an additional game strategy test to take as well. Again, please make sure your kiddos are in the shop on time. We need our whole team! Belton is coming up fast. If you haven't already reserved your hotel rooms please do so soon.
