SaLT Spot
Meeting Highlights June 11, 2026
- SaLT considered exploring Behavioral and Communication Covenants in order to develop promises on how we interact with one another. Rev. Robert and Geoff Brink will work with SaLT on this goal.
- Youth Group had done an amazing job fundraising for the Pine Ridge Trip. The balance of the camp expense will be covered by fundraising that has already happened, so they will only need funds for hotels and gas to be covered.
- Discussed the development of an Information and Technology Work Group to establish tools to engage multiple church members in these responsibilities so there are back-ups in place.

Weekly Creation Care Topic
Reduce/Reuse/Recycle
June 19: June 8 was World Ocean Day, but every day is Ocean Day. From the World Economic Forum: “From tourists at the beach to desert desalination plants, and from data cables on the seafloor to fishing communities – the ocean impacts everyone. The ocean regulates climate, carries 80% of global trade, supplies freshwater and food, enables communications, sustains livelihoods and underpins a fast‑growing blue economy. Our oceans’ health depends on actions we take now.” What can I do to make a difference? Click here to find out! Whether you live near the ocean or far inland, practice and teach children and others to: conserve water, reduce pollutants, especially chemicals and plastics, choose sustainable seafood, fish responsibly, respect habitat, practice safe boating, and volunteer for cleanup.

Saturday, June 20, 2026
12:00 - 8:00 pm
An All Ages Summer Solstice Celebration of Community, Playful Connection, Live Music, Potluck, Fire Ceremony & More Free to attend. This community fundraiser supports the continued growth of SACRED THREAD™ through donations and silent auction proceeds.
On the Summer Solstice, SACRED THREAD turns 6 months old!
What began as a vision around the Fire has already grown into a thriving community rooted in connection, healing, creativity, reverence for life, and the remembrance that we were never meant to walk this path alone.
Join us as we celebrate our “half birthday” with a day of live music, ceremony, art, games, community connection, spiritual exploration, laughter, delicious food, and summer magic beneath the long golden light of the Solstice sun.

Join Meagan Mac Ionnrachtaigh of SACRED THREAD™ for Pattern Disrupt: Identify and implement tools to support a shift towards supportive behavior patterns. Meagan is a Yoga Teacher, Chef, Massage Therapist and Womb Continuum Care Practitioner.
Identify 1-5 behavior patterns in your life that you would like to shift for any reason. We will co-create a series of breath and movement that would interrupt the pattern once you become aware of it. For 40 days, we will commit to using this tool to disrupt
the identified patterns. Participants will be encouraged to take notes daily on how many times the patterns came up and the result of using the tool. We will also talk about life-nourishing patterned behavior, which participants may choose to begin implementing
as a course of action post-disrupt.
There will be two follow-up calls over Zoom—one 20 days in and one at the end. At the halfway point, we will troubleshoot and reignite motivation, and at the end, we will celebrate and talk about moving forward with our patterns as an ongoing challenge to work
with.
A potluck will follow. Please bring a dish to share. Gluten-free, plant-based whole food preferred.
