January Teen Fundraiser

The teens are amping up for noisy offerings in January to support the trip to the Pine Ridge reservation in July. We will collect all change/paper bills and donations at Sunday's service on January 25. For those attending via Zoom, there is always an option to donate online through our website, located under "Youth Ministry." Thank you very much and Happy New Year!

Do you have gently used blankets, sheets, or other bedding that you no longer use? Many families across Dane County cannot afford these basic household essentials. The Social Justice Collective and Creation Care Ministry are collecting bedding to donate to St. Vincent de Paul. Monetary donations are also accepted.

We will collect blankets, sheets, and other bedding on the Sundays of January 25 and February 1, or click here to make a monetary donation. St. Vincent de Paul will use the funds to buy new blankets in bulk.

Thanks for helping our neighbors in need by contributing to Recycle the Warmth!

After worship

Lost and Found Basket

There are LOTS of items in the lost and found basket (many added recently) located in the Fellowship area under the table by the main entry doors. The new and old items will be donated just after the end of January.

Registration Is Open!

Registration for Summer Camp at Daycholah Center opened on January 12. Camp Daycholah offers a joyful, unplugged experience where children and youth build friendships, grow in confidence and spirit, and connect with nature. Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register early.

Weekly Creation Care Topic

Reduce/Reuse/Recycle

Recycle: Crayons are made of paraffin wax, a petroleum by-product that is not biodegradable. In the U.S., more than 60 million crayons are discarded each year. That is over 500,000 pounds of waxy sludge that won’t decompose. But, do you know that crayons can be recycled? Even the paper wrappings are recycled by the National Crayon Recycling Program. You can ship unwanted crayons to the national crayon recycling program, as listed on their website, or you can simply drop them off at any Staples store.
