One Great Hour of Sharing
Sunday, March 15, 2026
For over 75 years, the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering (OGHS) has been helping Christians bring God’s hope and healing to hurting people both in the US and around the world.
OGHS’s mission is to support domestic and international development, fight poverty and its consequences, bring aid and relief to communities torn by war or ravaged by national disaster, provide advocacy and resettlement assistance for refugees and displaced persons, and combat injustice in its many forms. OGHS provides funding and hands-on assistance in collaboration with local and international partners.
In the United Church of Christ, the Global H.O.P.E. team oversees the distribution of the offering. Click here to learn more about this team.
Thank you for supporting One Great Hour of Sharing for over 75 years. You continue to embody a love offering to the world.

Easter Flowers
Believe it or not, Easter is just around the corner. Our sanctuary will soon be decked out with beautiful spring-colored flowers. If you would like to donate toward the purchase of one or more of the flowers we use this year, please sign up here and indicate if they are in honor of or in memory of someone. Flowers may be taken home after the Easter Sunday service.

Many Thanks to Postcard Writers!
On March 10, we mailed 250 get-out-the-vote postcards to encourage unregistered voters in Milwaukee to register for the upcoming Supreme Court election primary - and to vote in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election primary that will be held on Tuesday, April 7. Thanks to everyone who helped write postcards – and let’s all of us remember to vote on April 7!

Weekly Creation Care Topic
Reduce/Reuse/Recycle
Try changing a habit for Lent for yourself, your family and the environment: Do a digital detox. Set parameters for use of personal devices, eg. phone off during the workday or during evenings when you’re with family, no TV except on weekends/certain days, checking email and social media at designated times each day, etc., pick something that may be challenging but doable. Enjoy family & friends while saving energy!

Moderator Chats
The "Moderator Chat" on Wednesday, March 18, 4:30-5:45 pm at Java Cat Coffee House has been canceled.
Moderator Dinner "Out"
I will also be hosting a quarterly dinner "out" at various locations and times to be decided. A sign-up sheet with all pertinent information will be forthcoming. Stay tuned.
| | Jessica will lead us in a Shamanic Fire ceremony that is inclusive to all walks of faith. As flames flicker, we’ll create sacred space to reflect and plant seeds of intentions for the season ahead. After the ceremony, we hope you’ll join us in sharing a meal! Please bring a dish to share if you’re able. More details, including what to bring, can be found here. | | |
