Bring your appetite and join the fun! MUCC has several games and 3 decks of cards, but feel free to bring your own if desired.
Pick up containers for the optional soup exchange after church this week (3/1), if you'd like to participate. Fill it with your favorite soup, fresh or frozen, and bring it along on March 7. "Exchange soup" may be taken home as part of the "exchange," or donated to the McFarland Senior Center (it will be taken care of for you). Questions? Judy Taber

Extraordinary Times Require Action
The Wisconsin Supreme Court election primary will be held on Tuesday, April 7. You may have heard that in 2025, Wisconsin purged 192,000 inactive voters: anyone who had last voted in 2020 (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article). This happened because these potential voters were notified, but failed to return a letter in the mail.
All elections are important, but in these uncertain times when the courts seem to be acting as a check against governmental overreach, the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election is critical. Reclaim Our Vote (ROV) is partnering with Souls to the Polls to encourage unregistered voters in Milwaukee to register for the upcoming Supreme Court election primary. This get-out-the-vote campaign also lays the groundwork for the midterm elections down the road.
Judy Taber and Jayne Fischer are again hosting postcard-writing sessions after church. Join us this Sunday. We have ordered 250 postcards and addresses, and the will be mailed March 9 and 23. We’ll provide the postcards, pens, and template for what to write, and you may even want to join us at McFarland Café once a week to write a few cards (let us know if you’re interested).
We hope you’ll join this campaign and write a few cards. Every effort helps! Thank you.

Easter Flowers
Believe it or not, Easter is just around the corner. Our sanctuary will soon be decked out with beautiful spring-colored flowers. If you would like to donate toward the purchase of one or more of the flowers we use this year, please sign up here and indicate if they are in honor of or in memory of someone. Flowers may be taken home after the Easter Sunday service.

One Great Hour of Sharing
Sunday, March 15, 2026
For over 75 years, the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering (OGHS) has been helping Christians bring God’s hope and healing to hurting people both in the US and around the world.
OGHS’s mission is to support domestic and international development, fight poverty and its consequences, bring aid and relief to communities torn by war or ravaged by national disaster, provide advocacy and resettlement assistance for refugees and displaced persons, and combat injustice in its many forms. OGHS provides funding and hands-on assistance in collaboration with local and international partners.
In the United Church of Christ, the Global H.O.P.E. team oversees the distribution of the offering. Click here to learn more about this team.
Thank you for supporting One Great Hour of Sharing for over 75 years. You continue to embody a love offering to the world.

Weekly Creation Care Topic
Reduce/Reuse/Recycle
Go Green for Lent: Read an article (or a book) about the environment. Instead of doom scrolling, find an article of interest and then share it with just one other person, who may then share it with someone else, yay, the ripple effect, that’s how we create change! Not sure where to start? In honor of Women’s History Month, click here to learn about 16 female Guardians of the Planet. Or, try EcoWatch Organization for a variety of topics.
