Sausalito Ferry Landside Groundbreaking and next PBAC save the date

Hi Sausalito bicycle and pedestrian advocates,

The Ferry Landside improvement project is something many of you have been contributing to for a long time: calling out known hotspots, offering design ideas, providing public comment, etc. I'm excited to pass along this announcement below about the ceremonial groundbreaking coming up this Monday, October 7, at 9am. It's sadly not often we get to celebrate progress in this town, so I plan to be there! The real work has already started, so it's also fun to see the work in progress.

Also, please save the date for the next Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee (PBAC) meeting which will be Monday, November 11 at 6:30p. It's our first opportunity to hear from the transportation engineers that are looking at design concepts to make the Bridgeway waterfront safer for all users. We will also cover the Coloma safety improvement project since there's an important grant application due in December.
