Ferry Landside: Unpave the heart of Sausalito

Hi Sausalito Bike Advocates,

Hope you are all well and enjoying these stretches of great weather. 

This coming Tuesday evening the City Council will have a discussion on the Ferry Landside redesign. There are some exciting developments, as the City is recommending putting $25k towards a report on removing the parking lot altogether and replacing it with a park. All options on the table include a number of improvements for bicycles and pedestrians. Agenda with design attachments here (see section 7a).

Please consider writing in (cityc...@sausalito.gov) and/or making a public comment during the meeting to share your thoughts. Click here for a template email you can use as a starting point. Attached is the public comment that I submitted.

We also have a Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting coming up the following week on Monday April 19 at 6:30p. The agenda isn't published yet but is likely to focus on Nevada St traffic calming and Caledonia St. Dining/Closure.
