Dear Advocates,
Sausalito needs your email of support sent today. This Saturday March 29th at 1pm the Sausalito City Council will be voting on the Bridgeway Safety Improvement Project that will bring crosswalks, bike lanes, curbside delivery and less frustration for drivers along our beautiful waterfront.

- The section of road is the 2nd highest in Sausalito for collision injuries
- It is the sight of a pedestrian death in 2007
- Center lane is for Turning Only, but it is used for deliveries and parking by many drivers
- Curbside delivery is safer for workers and other road users
- Circulation would be improved for drivers and emergency vehicles
- Maintenance is needed
- Crosswalks are proposed for this 1/2 mile stretch without any
- It is an unsafe route to school
- Over $500,000 in Grant Money to fund the construction
- This project has been in the General Plan since 1995
- Sausalito signed a Complete Streets Resolution in 2017
- Read council member candidate views from MCBC Bike the Vote
Opposition is loud ... seemingly against bicyclists and change in general. Your voice can make a big difference.
Your in-person attendance on Saturday would send a strong message.
