Dear Manhattan University students,
Basketball season is well on its way and it has been amazing seeing many of you cheering on our teams in Draddy. Your support means so much to our student-athletes and coaching staff. If you have been in Draddy lately, you have watched some pretty electrifying games. We hope to see you later today at Fall Frenzy... And we are already working on our next event!
Battle of the Bronx is Saturday December 13th. This year, Men's Basketball is taking the legendary rivalry on the road and will be playing away, at Fordham University. And for the first time ever... they are bringing their fans along. Students and Manhattan University employees are welcome to join us at no cost. Athletics has generously purchased 100 tickets for the game and we are making a day of it.
🏀11am: Pre-game Hype Party in Draddy
Join the Office of Student Life as of 11am in Draddy for some pre-game fun. Fun food, music, hoops, Jasper fan face painting, photo booth and free "Battle of the Bronx 2025" T-shirt giveaway for you and your guests. There will also be a sign making area so you can get ready to cheer on our team.
🏀12.30pm: Team send-off
Put your newly created signs to good use and cheer on the Men's Basketball team as they leave Draddy and head to Fordham University
🏀1pm: Fan buses departure
For those who want to take advantage of it, we will offer complimentary round trip transportation to Fordham University. Buses will depart the Draddy Lot at 1pm. Return buses will depart Fordham 20 minutes following the end of the game. Those who prefer to drive on their own are welcomed to do so and utilize the parking facilities at Fordham. You will find details here.
