I was in MS today and found that he flat mill file in the tool cabinet had been used for filing wood. The teeth were (on both sides caked in timber…. Metal files are not for timber, but for  metal, this file is specifically for flattening the saw teeth on the rip panel saw in the cabinet.  Not for fine tuning your dovetails. - we have some rather nice chisels which will make a far faster job of paring your joinery.

I have. Cleaned the file and put them back in the cabinet.
