I am writing people who were in the secure workshop on the 17th. This
email is going to several people and copied to the woodshop group.

The mitre saw was left in a bad state (pictures attached): a mitre was
set, there was a large amount of saw dust on and around the tool and it
was still plugged into the mains. There was also dust on the tools next
to it also.   It had to be cleaned up by another member prior to use.
The saw's mitre should be reset to zero, it and all surfaces around it
should be vacuumed and the saw should be unplugged after use.

Prior to that the CNC Router was also found covered in saw and plastic
material dust, the spindle gantry had not been moved to the back of the
bed. The CNC router bed should be vacuumed after use.

Before you start to work, please turn on the overhead dust extraction.
It can be switched on with the small white remote which is kept by the
battery chargers near the CNC Router and the shadow board.

Whenever you work in the workshops please use all the dust extraction
facilities available, then clean and check your work areas after you are
finished using them.

Thank you,
