"One evening, one large pile of microscope parts, multiple teams of makers, plenty of ingenuity, hopefully some impressive photos of tiny things."Biomakespace has recently had a clear out and we're interested in what weird and wonderful microscope chimeras we can build from the miscellaneous parts available. There'll also be the opportunity to show off your own DIY microscopes and find other people with a passion for biology, optics, imaging, automation and image processing to embark on some fun projects at Makespace. For inspiration, check out designs like the Open Flexure Scope, FluoPi and UC2.
This will be a hybrid event so you are welcome in person at Makespace (mask required) or via Zoom where you can join a team via a breakout room for discussion and remote collaboration.
