Would we have a version that maybe has a more value heavy hue ("brighter")? These are my justifications:
The black text under sunlight on a gray background will make the light reflect from the gray and not much from the black making those details meld together or not show up for some folks.
If someone stops and reads (and doesn't have any variant color blindness) then this is a non-issue I'd think but I think making it "brighter" and more eye catching addresses two problems:
1) It makes you consider what information people need to know to be interested in the space so it might eliminate some of the text. The reason for this is that you have to pick what will have what importance once you leverage higher hues.
2) People who are running/biking by, a quality shared by a lot of folks Lior might post around his area will need to be caught by something and on a sunny day this will be drowned out but the saturation of the sun and at night maybe unreadable.
This is as much as I know about outside marketing and color theory so sorry if this feels incomplete.
Also I have been in this space for a year and a half now. A lot of the people in the space are very funny and quirky. Cracking jokes and doing silly things is at least in some part of the culture. Why is our marketing so neutral and mostly information focused? Is that really us appealing to the people who'd enjoy the environment?
Okay these are my million dollar thoughts. You're welcome for the morning TED talk.
