This is not something that I am advocating we do at this point but they (Hearst/New Haven Register) reached out and shared this pricing information on paying for a sponsored story on MakeHaven. Basically we would pay them and we would get a promoted story in the paper. My sense is we are better off reaching out when we do programs to try and get organic coverage, yet good to have an understanding of the general cost structure for the sponsored type.

About Community Spotlight:

 

  • A Hearst writer will interview you and your team to write an article about MakeHaven.
  • This article can include text, photos, and video, and it will be featured on the New Haven Register website indefinitely, allowing you to share it anytime.
  • Additionally, the article will be distributed as sponsored content across the Hearst network, which includes 30 news sites, and our extended network, featuring popular websites like ESPN, CNN, Popular Mechanics, Men’s Health, etc.
  • The goal is for this article to follow your target audience around the internet, increasing brand recognition. We will target it demographically and geographically to ensure it reaches your ideal audience.
  • We’ll also boost the article on one of our Facebook pages, probably the New Haven Register.
