Subject: Reminder: Maine Ice Angler Survey
To: Molly Jean Langlais Parker <molly.l...@maine.edu>

Hello there,

Several weeks ago, you were invited to participate in a study about ice fishing in Maine. This is a follow-up email in case you missed the initial invitation. The research study, titled "Effect of Climate Heating and Economic Shocks on Anglers' Willingness and Capacity to Ice Fish in Central Maine," explores beliefs and attitudes about the present and future of ice fishing in Maine, particularly those that motivate ice anglers to harvest fish for recreation or sustenance.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to participate and would like to, please follow this link to provide your responses: https://umaine.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7TIUmhKzW4CLHKu. You can also copy and paste the URL into your web browser or click the link directly.

The study takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a set of customized Jack Traps, valued at $525.

Please be assured that your responses will remain confidential. For inquiries regarding your rights as a research participant, please contact the University of Maine’s Office of Research Compliance at 207-581-2657 or um...@maine.edu.

Sincerely,
Deborah.
