Good afternoon,
Just a reminder that the deadline to apply for the Maine Forest Service summer intern program is today. Please contact me if you know of any students that still might be interested in applying. Although we have received several applications, we are considering a short extension to the deadline.
Sincerely,
Kent

Subject: Maine Forest Service summer internship announcement
Good afternoon,
This year, the Maine Forest Service’s Forest Protection Division is offering a summer internship focused more on wildfire suppression. We are going to use three summer interns to help staff our Helitack program, which responds and works on wildfires via helicopter in remote parts of the state. Please distribute this to your students. Any questions, let me know.
Sincerely,
Kent Nelson
