Good afternoon,

There are 4 remaining openings for the Maine Government Summer Internship Program through the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center. Maine Government Student Interns spend a summer contributing to Maine state agencies and municipal and county governments, gaining professional experience and networking. Supervisors benefit from hardworking interns with new ideas, energy, and skills. Internships are full-time, paid work experience for 12 weeks of the summer. The internship program is a collaborative process involving the Office of the Governor, the Maine Bureau of Human Resources, numerous Maine state government agencies, local governments and the state and municipal employees who serve as intern supervisors. The program is administered by the MCS Policy Center at the University of Maine. You can learn more about MCS Policy Center here.

The application link is https://umaine.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3Oh6q9f1TwaGfTU or any interested student can contact Peggy McKee, margare...@maine.edu for more information.

The following link has information on the 4 positions. They're looking for a Dam Safety AssistantGIS Field Assistant; Kennebec Water District Engineering and Technology Assistant; and a Law and Finance intern.

Please spread the word.
Thanks!
Ben
