View this email in your browser View this email in your browser FRA MAINE FORESTRY FORUM - Meeting Announcement WHEN:            Thursday, December 5, 2019 WHERE:         Jeff’s Catering -15 Littlefield Way, Brewer, Maine TIME:              5:30 - 6:15 PM - Social “Hour”                         6:15 - 7:00 PM - Buffet Dinner                          7:00 - 8:00 PM – Forum Speakers COST:            FRA Members - $25 / Non-members - $35 - Payable at the door.  Payment via cash, check or credit card.            Pre-registration is requested to assure an accurate head count for meals!    GO Lab - A New Market in Madison, Maine   Josh Henry, CEO of GO Lab (Belfast, ME), will talk about his company’s plans to establish a new wood-using manufacturing facility in Maine.  GO Lab is importing European technology to the former UPM paper mill in Madison, Maine, where it will be using softwood fiber to make insulating wood composites (boards, batts and loose fill) – a building products market currently dominated by foam and fiberglass.  This new use of low-grade fiber will create over 120 jobs directly and a new market for loggers and mills in the region.
