GO Lab - A New Market in Madison, Maine
Josh Henry, CEO of GO Lab (Belfast, ME), will talk about his company’s plans to establish a new wood-using manufacturing facility in Maine. GO Lab is importing European technology to the former UPM paper mill in Madison, Maine, where it will be using softwood fiber to make insulating wood composites (boards, batts and loose fill) – a building products market currently dominated by foam and fiberglass. This new use of low-grade fiber will create over 120 jobs directly and a new market for loggers and mills in the region. This is a great opportunity to hear about a new technology, company and market that is helping diversify Maine’s forest economy.

Joshua Henry, Chief Executive Officer, Go Lab
