We're updating to magnolia 6.2. I notice that for a new node mgnl:lastModified is not filled automatically. mgnl:creationDate is. I have to make at least one subsequent change to the node to have a lastModified value too.

In some way, this makes sense. But it doesn't really seem convenient, on the other hand. I don't recall having it seen work like this previously. I would have expected that initially the creation and last-modified dates are the same (i.e. 'creation' is also a kind of 'modification').

Is this by design, or is this some kind of bug?

greetings,

 Michiel

Hey Michiel,

sounds like MGNLUI-6766. Are you on the latest? Can you reproduce on demo?

Regards.

We are on the latest, yes. I can't reproduce it on demo.  Simple apps like 'contacts' and 'stories' should be similar to our case. I'll investigate a bit better. I's good to know at least that this would be considered a bug.
