Exclude personalization module

Hello everyone,

is it possible to exclude the personalization module when using magnolia dependency management and the magnolia-dx-core-custom-cloud-webapp ?

Or does the enterprise version need the personalization module?

So far I never had a client who uses it, but it frequently confused editors.
