New to Magnolia CMS – Looking for Community Resources and Guidelines

Hello everyone,

Happy to meet you :)

I am new to Magnolia CMS, actually I am so new, I am starting today to learn about it.

I previously worked with TYPO3, which has a very active community where people can ask questions and exchange experiences. Does Magnolia have a similar community, forum, mailing list, or developer group?

Is this the right place to ask beginner questions, or is there another community channel you would recommend? I need start with version 6.2 .

Hi Aleksandra,

Welcome to Magnolia! If you have any flexibility on the version, 6.4 is our latest and gets the most active support and documentation attention — but 6.2 is well documented too if you need to stick with it.

A few places to go for support and discussion:
- Documentation: https://docs.magnolia-cms.com — covers both 6.2 and current releases.

- This mailing list (user-list) — exactly the right place for beginner questions; the community here is small but responsive.
- Stack Overflow

One question for you, if you dont mind: which platforms or channels would you personally find most useful for us to be active on (Discord, Slack, Stack Overflow, something else)? We are reassessing where to invest our community presence, and input from someone just getting started is genuinely useful.
