two year post doc at CMU: expansion of US transmission capacity

With support from the Sloan Foundation, Granger Morgan and I are collaborating on a new research initiative about how to make big expansions in the US transmission system.  Much of the focus is on the interaction of advanced technology (e.g., HVDC) and regulatory systems that could allow/encourage the use of that technology.
