To help you start planning your schedule for the conference, here is a summary of key ENRE section events and special sessions. Note that the conference agenda is available online and INFORMS will release the conference mobile app soon, which will include a more detailed schedule. ENRE Business Meeting - Sunday 10/26, 6:45pm - Georgia World Congress Center, Room A315 We will present a brief update on the state of the ENRE section and our current initiatives, recognize our members who have contributed to ENRE activities, honor our award winners, and open the floor for questions and suggestions. Note that we will do a more streamlined business meeting than in years past, without refreshments. Instead, our business meeting will be immediately followed by a dedicated off-site social event ... ENRE Social Event - Sunday 10/26, 7:30pm - STATS Brewpub After the business meeting we'll head over to STATS Brewpub for a social event with food and drinks! The venue is a stone's throw from the conference center. We're trying something new this year by splitting the evening into separate business meeting and social events. We realize that our time together at the annual meeting is limited and we want you all to have ample time to meet and reconnect with each other, and have fun. It's admittedly an experiment this year and we'll see how it goes. Please note that this event is only for ENRE section members. Hotelling Medal Lecture - Monday 10/27, 11am - Building B Level 2 B203 Dr. Yves Smeers, this year's winner of the Hotelling Medal for Lifetime Achievement in ENRE, will deliver a lecture titled "An Old Theorem and A Chaotic World." We encourage you all to attend and enjoy this lecture from Dr. Smeers! ENRE Awards Session - Monday 10/27, 4:15pm - Building B Level 2 B203 The winners of the five ENRE best paper awards will present their papers in one session that showcases some of the most innovative and impactful research taking place in our section. We encourage you all to attend and learn about their work! See you soon in Atlanta! |
