"Interest in and ability to engage in evidence-based pedagogy in lower- and upper-level courses for science and mathematics majors is required, and experience in management and administration of a department is preferred. The new chair will be guiding the department in its transition to a new curriculum that includes three- and twelve-week semesters and a redesign of both major requirements and the general education curriculum."
