Dear IBL-SIGMAA,

Are you teaching Calc I soon? Are you interested in using videos as part of your instruction? Are you curious about how students use videos and what they learn from watching them? A few of my colleagues are working on a calculus video study, and I am posting their advertisement below.

Best,
Dan

Colleagues,

Are you interested in flipping your class or incorporating videos into your instruction?

Our NSF-funded project has developed instructional videos for topics in first-semester Calculus and we are recruiting instructors to test them in their classes. The project provides professional development and the opportunity to help collect data about how students use and learn from the videos.

If you are interested in participating, visit our project web site: https://calcvids.org/ and email Aaron Weinberg (awei...@ithaca.edu).

Thank you,
Aaron Weinberg
