If you are attending this summer's MathFest, please consider submitting an abstract to the contributed paper session "Enhance Your Teaching through Best Practices That Align with the Instructional Practices Guide." This session is sponsored by the MAA Committee on the Teaching of Undergraduate Mathematics (CTUM), which welcomes submissions related to any of the three subsections of the guide: Design Practices, Classroom Practices, and Assessment Practices.

Abstract:  Speakers in this session share teaching innovations through a scholarly lens by pegging their work to specific evidence-based practices in the MAA Instructional Practices (IP) Guide. Each talk will clearly lay out both the pedagogical technique as well as how it pertains to at least one of the subsections of the IP Guide.
