Upcoming Networking Events for

Residential Retrofit Program

The Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) has launched its Residential Retrofit Program, allowing eligible public and affordable housing properties to improve broadband infrastructure, enabling residents to engage in essential daily activities such as working remotely, pursuing educational opportunities, and accessing healthcare from home.

As MBI deploys funds for these infrastructure upgrades, we hope to generate collaboration between internet service providers, housing providers, and workforce development organizations through two industry networking events in April.

At these events, workforce partners can benefit from creating partnerships with businesses and exploring a new sector that will be receiving federal funding.

Additionally, businesses will have the opportunity to meet with housing operators to understand their requirements and goals for serving residents' broadband needs. Housing operators will learn of workforce training opportunities and how MBI’s programs can benefit their residents.

Both events will serve breakfast and have identical programming. Please attend the event that is the most convenient location for you.
