Training Announcement: Data cleanup and spreadsheet tips and tricks on July 14, 2026

Dear ArchivesSpace users,
ArchivesSpace will be offering our next community-wide training on July 14, 2026 from 12:00pm-3:00pm ET. This training will cover a variety of tips and helpful tricks for data cleanup and working with ArchivesSpace spreadsheets.
Upon completing this workshop, participants will have learned:

how to access the bulk import and edit templates in ArchivesSpace

how to select the appropriate template for their needs

how to troubleshoot common issues with the spreadsheet templates

how to avoid common import issues related to spreadsheet templates

how to cleanup data entry issues related to spreadsheet templates
This training assumes a basic understanding of archival workflows and metadata formats as well as experience navigating the staff user interface of ArchivesSpace.
