Usability Sub-Team Community Discussion - Streamlining Configuration Changes in the Staff User Interface

the ArchivesSpace Usability Subteam and ArchivesSpace front-end developer Brian Zelip of the program team for a discussion about configuring the ArchivesSpace application from within the staff user interface on April 23, 2025, at 1:00pm ET (find
your local time).
Our goal is to allow users to modify default configuration options for both the Staff and Public User Interface directly in the Staff User Interface instead of updating the back-end configuration file. This would allow archivists to customize their instance without relying on IT or system administrators.
We need your input to make this happen. We’re seeking community member feedback on commonly used configuration changes and those that have been delayed due to IT or sysadmin constraints. Consider these questions:
