Training Announcement: Using Assessment and Event Records in ArchivesSpace, June 12, 2025

Dear ArchivesSpace users,
ArchivesSpace will be offering our next community-wide training on
June 12, 2025, from 12pm-3pm ET/9am-12pm PT. This training will cover using Assessment and Event records in ArchivesSpace.
Upon completing this workshop, participants will:
- understand the function of assessment and event records in the ArchivesSpace application
- be able to create assessments in ArchivesSpace
- be able to create events in ArchivesSpace
- be able to manage and edit assessment attributes in ArchivesSpace
This workshop presumes that participants have taken the ArchivesSpace Basics workshop or have practical experience with ArchivesSpace sufficient to create records with minimal guidance. It also assumes that all participants have solid knowledge of basic archival descriptive standards and workflows.
