Bulk Updates to Container Profiles / API

Hello,

We just completed a large inventory and audit of our top containers and container profiles across all of our collections. We now need to perform bulk updates in ArchivesSpace to update existing container profiles, create new container profiles, assign these profiles to top containers, and delete unassociated container profiles. Does anyone have experience bulk updating and/or creating container profiles across collections? Even just being able to bulk import new container profiles would be a big help.

I have some experience working with Python, so I’m not opposed to doing some exploration into the ArchivesSpace API, but there will be a learning curve. Any resources related to getting up and running with the API would be appreciated.
